This range is used for NRA Highpower Rifle Competition. It consists of firing lines at 200 yards, 300 yards and 600 yards. The range was originally constructed for traditional NRA high power rifle competition – now referred to as “Cross the Course” — matches. Currently it is only used for NRA F-Class type high power shooting. Organized practice sessions are held once a month, typically Thursday evenings, from approximately May thru September. See the YRC Calendar for dates & times for practices & matches. Practices are open to non-members with payment of the appropriate range fee.
