Clubhouse Range #6
The clubhouse was constructed in 1972 by YRC members and is open during the gallery season which is approximately late September thru April. All of the club meeting are held here along with a number of special events. The range is used for organized air gun, bullseye pistol, adults smallbore rifle, junior smallbore rifle and matches. Magnum loads are not allowed. Distances for this range include; 10 meters (33 feet) for air guns, 50 feet for handguns, adult smallbore rifle and junior smallbore rifle. Air gun practices are on every Tuesday except for the first Tuesday of every other month when club meetings are held. Precision Bullseye practice is on Wednesdays, adult smallbore rifle on Thursdays, and junior smallbore rifle on Sundays in the afternoon. Practice sessions are open to members and nonmembers upon payment of a nominal range fee. Check with each discipline director for times and gun/ammo requirements. The air gun, pistol and junior smallbore rifle has all the equipment necessary for shooters to use. Air gun is open to shooters that are nine years of age and older. Junior smallbore rifle is open to shooters that are nine to eighteen years of age and coaches are available to help instruct kids and the parents help is always appreciated.
