The firing line for the Long-Range Course ( 2B ) is to the North side of the dirt berm as you enter the club property. There are a total of 4 shooting position. There is also a prone shooting position on the right side of the benches. There are 11 steel targets made of AR-400 steel plate. The range consists of two 400-yard, two 500-yard, one 550-yard, four 600-yard, and two 700-yard targets. These targets are to be painted fluorescent orange with a white center. Please do not paint the targets black and white as this will conflict with the BPCR range targets. The range is open to all center fire standard calibers with the exception of the 50 BMG. As with the other ranges, no APR rounds, no tracer rounds, or incendiary rounds are permitted. Be sure to check the “Range Close Sign” to see if anyone may be down range painting targets. The sign is reversible, one side says, “Range Closed” and the other side says, “Range Open”. Please observe all club safety precautions and rules while other shooters are downrange. There is an access road to the right side of this shooting position that is used for checking and re-painting the targets. It is important to check with any shooters using the BPCR Range or the .22 Rimfire Silhouette Range before going down range. Please note this range is closed when there is a shooting match scheduled at either the High Power or the BPCR ranges.
