Email Consent

We will attempt to the best of our ability to keep you updated and informed of any happenings at the club. You will receive notices of newsletter publication, upcoming meetings with agendas, and any other information of which you should be aware. It may sound like a lot, but we promise not to flood your inbox!

The Yellowstone Rifle Club will never use your email address for any other reasons than those stated above. We will never disclose your email address or any other personal information you enter on the Yellowstone Rifle Club web site with the exclusion of your comments on any of the Discussion Forums.

Discussion Forum Rules

1. Respect other members. Everyone has their own tastes, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how wrong it may seem to you. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion in a constructive manner.
2. No flaming or foul language. Racism and gender/sexual preference bashing are NOT tolerated on this site.
3. Any images posted on the site, including file attachments, profile images, gallery images, and signatures must be appropriate. Our standards for "appropriate" mean:
* Any images posted must conform to the mission statement of the YRC.
* No full or partial nudity
* No profanity or vulgarity
* No strong sexual suggestiveness
* No explicit violence (suicide, death, etc.) Basically, if you think your image may not be appropriate for someone to view in front of their mother, don't post it. Remember, this site is designed for firearms enthusiasts to help each other in our sport, not a repository for explicit imagery. Any image that does not comply with our standards will be removed.
4. Fighting over the internet is lame. Don't do it. If you have a problem with someone, take it to private messages or email. Nobody wants to watch people argue online.
5. Images in your signature are required to be no larger than 500x100 pixels and no larger than 20Kb in size.
6. Links to potentially inappropriate websites must have a warning posted with them. Any posts without this warning are subject to deletion.
7. Please try to avoid "Post Jacking". Post jacking is replying to a thread with something that is completely off the topic of the thread.
8. Do not, under ANY circumstances give your login information to someone else. Any use or abuse of your account by someone else will be treated in the same manner as if it were you using your account. If you believe that your user account has been compromised, notify a moderator immediately and change your password.
Our moderating staff typically works on a three-strikes-and-you're-out basis. Users violating forum rules will be issued a warning. If it is the second offense, the account will be put on probation for a period of two weeks. While an account is on probation, the user will have read-only access to the forum. If a third offense occurs, the account will be subject to deletion. The user would still retain all other site privileges and access to other member areas. These rules may be updated at any time. If any changes are made to these rules, a notice will be posted in the Site News area on the forum.
